  I have never ever put a complaint on the Internet about a business, but today I feel the need to. I walked into a tha local cat adoption just to check out to see if they have any kittens. I walked into the door and the two people that were there didn't even greet me. One of the ladies was so rude that I got a bad vibe, and should of left right then and there. They wouldn't even let me look until I filled out a application. So I did and I circled indoor/ outdoor. Thinking most likely, because of were we live the cat would be indoors. The lady asked me about that and very rudely told me that they have a strict policy about indoor cat only and I said you know to tell you the truth that would not be a problem at all. Then she said ok then why don't you go take a look. As I was walking away I hear her say "she is not approved" to the other women. I don't think she realized that I have very good ears and heard her. I think to myself why am I even looking? To top it off she left before I could make it back to the desk. I responded to the other women that was there. Did she say that I was not approved? She says "yes." I say "then why did she tell me to go take a look!!" She says "I don't know." I then say "well that is extremely rude." She replies by saying "yes it was, but she runs this place so it is up to her." I walk out and said "she just denied a cat a very good home that would love it like a member of the family all over me circling indoor/ outdoor and more then willing to keep the cat indoors for the rest of it's life.

  The volunteers at this small but we'll managed thrift store are extremely helpful and gracious. Although some items seem to be priced high in comparison to other stores I frequent, I always find a little something for myself or a friend. Item's are nicely displayed, clothing and linen's are clean and wrinkle free. There is only one dressing room available but very roomy. I love going to thrift stores and if you've ever frequented any you know that if there's something that you really like put it in your basket right away and continue shopping otherwise it might get snatched up by somebody else. That being said, there are no baskets however the staff always ask to put your stuff up front while you continue shopping which is very nice with one major exception. They assume you are going to buy every item, whether it's an article of clothing, a book or DVD. Everything is logged folded or wrapped and bagged while you're still looking around. This procedure is extremely unsettling to me as it makes me feel pressured to purchase every item without spending the time to make sure it's not scratched broken missing Staind or even fits or maybe I only have so much money budgeted. I love to help out the animals and will continue to do so. Now I am extremely firm in saying that I will need to go through the items to make a final selection prior to a purchase. So far so good only a few seemed a little put out. In the last four to six months I have seen a vast Improvement in customer service, you're all doing a great job and thank you for volunteering to help the ones who can't help themselves. Meow!
